Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the world of television. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born with a Mexican-American dad and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist on the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for long and soon moved into Orlando Florida, where she performed a range of performances as an actor. These included commercials and independent films. Despite having small roles she quickly discovered her passion for acting. In 2001, she moved into New York where her first part was in All My Children's daytime soap as Rosa Santos. The actress had a few roles on JAG and Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. In 2004 she was selected for her first role in a series on The Mountain The Mountain, which is an ephemeral television drama. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as some of the greatest TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. She played A.D.A. in Law & Order the show, and the most memorable scene was from 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the spin-off show that lasted only a few episodes Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been nominated to win several awards including Best Supporting Actress on TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded De La Garza the Impact Award, which is presented to outstanding performers in a drama television series. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring part on CSI Miami. She was Marisol Delko's wife and David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. as Dr. Lena Solis, she has been seen most recently in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. It was put on hold after two seasons. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is Italian and is the youngest of two sisters Cory. She was brought up in an orthodox, religious family. Milano's professional career started at seven, as her babysitter took her to an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1,000 applicants. She was selected among only four girls. Milano appeared in advertisements in both Broadway and on TV, including the American musical adaptation in the form of Jane Eyre.
